“The food was sooo good. The Brisket was tender fall apart juicy the ribs were for sure on point and both were even better slathered with their sweet barbecue sauce that had a kick. The greens were for sure done right. I'm particular about my greens not having that overwhelming greens flavor be too pungent. They were really good. (So good I asked the chef her tricks to toning down but bringing out the natural flavor of the greens. She gave a couple hints which I appreciated) the baked beans were good as well. I suggest getting the Brisket and Ribs with the 2 sides for 20 bucks. Being honest the only thing that could be worked on in the restaurant wasn't the food it was exceptionally good and so was the service. For me it was the heat of the establishment it for sure could use better AC”

“Catfish was fried perfectly, with a moderate amount of Cajuny seasoning in the cornmeal. Sides are generous (about 1.5 cups). Green beans tasted fresh and well cooked but still firm (not mushy), cooked with onions but not swimming with ham or bacon. Okra was stewed down with a lot of meat & tomatoes - very flavorful!”
